Crumb Cake

From the kitchen of: Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church Women's Guild

4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 egg

Filling:
2 cans pie filling, flavor of your choice, or
2 pkg. lemon pudding, or
homemade pie filling, eg. Strawberry Rhubarb

Blend the first 6 ingredients together as for pie crust. Beat the egg; mix into dry ingredients with fork. Put 2/3 of crumb mixture into 13x9" pan. Press crumbs down around edges and bottom. Add the filling of your choice, then add remaining crumbs. Bake in 375°F oven for 30 minutes.
