From the kitchen of Erik & Alicia Wingren
Difficulty: easy
1lb. Italian Sausage, ground
1 8oz pkg mushrooms, sliced
1 2 c. pkg mozzarella cheese
1 15oz. can pizza sauce

Toppings of your choice i.e.,
Pepperoni
Green peppers
Olives
Onions
Parmesan cheese
Spices of your choice i.e.,
Black pepper
Italian seasonings
Garlic powder

Preheat oven for 350°F.
Brown sausage in skillet or stainless steel pan. Use sausage drippings in nonstick pan to cook mushrooms and any other toppings you want to use. Put sausage and mushrooms in an even layer in the bottom of a 9x9 baking pan. Put a layer of mozzarella (about 1 cup) on the sausage. Next, spread sauce over cheese. I like to put a coat of Italian seasonings, black pepper, and garlic powder in the sauce. Next, put the rest of the cheese on top. Top with any other cooked toppings and olives at this point. Drizzle with a little olive oil, bake until cheese melts. If desired, broil to brown cheese. WATCH CLOSELY if you broil!
